Omar Todd worked in the IT industry for 20 years and had earned several certifications and specialties. He is regarded as a Social Media and Cloud specialist. Todd was the founding director of Australian Public Awareness Network Association (APANA) Western Australia and served for three years, from 1993 to 1996, at the organization. During his time with APANA, he helped set up the first 14.4k permanent Internet connection in Western Australia.
